The Postharvest Technology Center is known worldwide as the premiere source for current, objective, and reliable information to navigate the often challenging world of produce handling. With over 600 pages of website content to assist the industry with "Maintaining Produce Quality & Safety", and top notch educational programs to bring the most current practices and techniques to your team, we have a lot to offer.
We encourage you to make a contribution to support the Postharvest Tecnology Center. You can tailor your donation to your area of philanthropic interest, or make it part of your company's marketing program by underwriting a student's enrollment in a course, sponsoring a meal at a class, or contributing to the Postharvest Program Fund. The UC Postharvest Program Fund was established in 1989 to support teaching, extension, and research activities related to postharvest biology and technology of fruit, ornamental, and vegetable crops. The interest on this endowment is currently used to support the maintenance of our website as the best source of information about postharvest biology and technology of horticultural perishables. This website has become increasingly popular, now receiving an average of more than 300,000 page visits per month from users like you. Continued development and free access to this website depend on the availability of funds from this endowment.
We would greatly appreciate your assistance in achieving our goal by sending your contribution or encouraging your organization to make a contribution. Thank you.
