Fully aware of the importance of receiving a comprehensive education, the School of Agronomic Engineering and Forestry (ETSIAM) encourages students to participate in exchange programs with universities abroad. With this aim, the ETSIAM has been actively involved in student exchange programs for several years with both European and Latin American universities.

City. The province of Cordoba, one of the eight that make up the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, has a surface area of 13,723.20 square kilometres representing 2.7% of the country´s total surface area and a population over 750,000 inhabitants. All the University´s centers are located in the capital, with the exception of the Technical College in Belmez.

Cordoba is the third largest capital of Andalusia, with more than 300,000 inhabitants. The city is located in the Guadalquivir River Valley and bordered to the north by the Sierra Morena mountain range and to the south by the Campiña, one the most traditional farming areas of Andalusia.

The climate is Mediterranean and the city's high temperatures in summer are alleviated by its mild climate the rest of the year and an annual rainfall of 600 cubic meters from October to May.

Language Classes for Guest Students. University of Cordoba organizes two callings for Spanish Language Courses for foreign students, the first in October and the second in February, having two different groups in each other (basic and intermediate). The content of the courses is functional grammar (basic) and functional grammar and culture and living in Spain (intermediate). These courses are totally free for Erasmus foreign students, realising a level exam before doing them, to determine the group in which they have to be. Those courses are given in the Modern Languages and Technical Translation Service, placed in the Multiple Services building - 5th floor- Av. Menendez Pidal w/n 14071 Cordoba) tel. 957 218132/218556, fax 957 218996.

Language Classes for Students to be Sent Abroad. University of Cordoba organizes four intensive English courses of different levels for students to be sent abroad.

Possible Integration of ICPT with Other Studies. To receive full academic recognition, all the subjects that the students follow in the ICPT must be recognised by Cordoba University.
