Web Statistics
We began using SmarterStats software in January 2007 to generate the Postharvest Technology Research & Information Center's Web site statistics. Unfortunately, this program does not include some file extension types that were included by our previous statistics software's reports. The SmarterStats' totals do not include page views by our server's (ANR) Google Search Appliance, or page views of the site's "robot.txt" document.
FlashStats software was used to generate statistics between March 2002 and December 2006; and WebTrends software was used prior to FlashStats. The counts show "http requests" and/or "page views," excluding files with the extension gif, jpg, jpeg, and png.
"w/ UCD" includes http requests from all users except those located from
Wickson Hall, UC Davis and the domain used by our computer support.
"w/o UCD" excludes all requests from the central UC Davis campus, including our
computer support.
