2022 Fruit Ripening & Ethylene Management Workshop Recap

Our first hybrid workshop, April 5-6, 2022, was a big success! Participants and instructors attended from all over the world in person and virtually. Instructors shared their research and knowledge on how to deliver delicious fruits and fruit-vegetables to consumers and increase profits by reducing losses at the receiving end.

Course Information

Our two-day Fruit Ripening & Ethylene Management Workshop focuses on how to increase profits by reducing losses at the receiving end, and delivering delicious, ready-to-eat fruits and fruit-vegetables to the consumer. This workshop features lectures, demonstrations and post-session Q&As. In-person participants are served lunch and snacks.

Who attended our April 2022 hybrid workshop?

Shippers, wholesale and retail fruit handlers, and produce managers who are involved in handling and ripening fruits and fruit-vegetables all benefited from this workshop. Participants can also earn credits toward completion of the Produce Professional Certificate by completing this workshop.
