I would like to know if the standard 60/40 footprint carton is fully compatible with the half-size 40/30-dimension carton. Can these be used for guavas, bananas, mangos, and papayas in a design layout? (R.A.)
Answer
The 40 x 30 cm footprint box is compatible only in that it is exactly half the size of the 60 x 40 cm box. Some box designs have stacking tabs and other features to interlock the boxes. These features may not be compatible between the two box sizes, it depends on the manufacturers specific designs. –
